Weapon Green I is part of an original silkscreen series exploring modern slang, street bravado, and controlled chaos. In contemporary language, calling someone a “weapon” can be a twisted form of praise—someone reckless, unhinged, or too brilliant to trust.
Each piece in the series was created using the same hand-cut Perspex stencil, shaped like a MAC-10 submachine gun, complete with stylised crosshairs and trigger marks. The stencil was pulled through a silkscreen one layer at a time, by hand, with each print developing its own visual personality through ink bleed, smudge, and pressure.
The green in this series is sharp, acidic, and full of tension—evoking envy, toxicity, vitality, and power all at once.
